Piano Lessons in North Knoxville!

I am now accepting new piano students in North Knoxville for in home piano lessons. I teach beginning to early advanced students of all ages, but specialize in teaching kids.

I have a degree in Piano Performance (BA 2016, Humboldt State University) and have taught for five years. I teach lessons that emphasize a solid foundation of technique, rhythmic and note fluency, musicality, and performance psychology. I also try to make sure our lessons are very fun, and reflect the student’s interests! In addition to teaching piano, I have also taught many fun art camps and classes.

Currently, students must live in North Knoxville and have a piano or full sized keyboard at home. Current rates are: $25 for a half hour lesson, $45 for an hour (can be shared by siblings).

Art Parties and Group Lessons!

I am also exploring the potential of leading super fun art parties and lessons for kids.

Potential themes for parties, ongoing art lessons, or one time group lessons: Wearable art and costume making, introductory sewing, fort building, cardboard building, introductory painting and sculpting, creating performances, giant puppetry and shadow puppetry, nature art, and more!

I was trained as an artist in a giant puppetry workshop in North Carolina, and currently study multimedia experimental arts as a graduate student at the University of Tennessee. I taught elementary art in Gloucester, VA for a semester, and have led numerous classes, camps, and workshops.

Please reach out if you’d like to host an art party or lessons at your home! I’d love to brainstorm ideas!!! :) Current availability: weekends and school breaks!
